The space

Le Marmontin is a warm, non-smoking chalet that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, ideal for a peaceful getaway in the heart of the forest. Nestled on the vast Chalets d’Auvergne estate, it shares the site with two other pavilions: La Sittelle and L’Hermine.

The pavilion was designed following eco-energy performance principles as part of the Auvergne – Living Laboratory project, in collaboration with Trempe Architecte and the Société d’habitation du Québec.

On-site Activities:
• Private hiking and snowshoe trails
• Lighted pathway and children’s play area
• Access to a private dock on the river – perfect for swimming and kayaking (equipment provided)
• Exploration of the property’s wetlands and peat bog

Good to Know:
The water comes from a natural underground spring. It may have a slight tint from tannins, typical of forest wells, but it remains perfectly safe to drink. A filtered water station is also available in the kitchen for your comfort.

Paquet Street in Ste-Christine-d'Auvergne is geolocated on Google map. It is near rue des bouleaux, without crossing it. See the route attached to the photos. The site is 1km east of the Chalet en bois rond tourist center. A detailed route will be sent to you before arrival.
